Dilek SAYDAN BATMAZ

Dilek Saydan Batmaz is an entrepreneur, executive, and consultant with 18 years of professional experience, specializing in strategy management, business transformation, operational excellence, and process management. She has demonstrated academic success by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an Executive MBA (valedictorian, 4.00 GPA) from Université du Québec à Montréal and Bucharest Business School.

She began her career in the automotive sector at the Renault Group, successfully implementing quality management, process improvement, and lean management projects. As the Head of Strategy, Process, and Risk Management at Doğuş Holding and the Tourism & Retail Group, she established corporate risk and process management systems for group companies, leading budget optimization and performance management efforts.

During her assignments in Romania, she led many initiatives as the Head of the Business Transformation Department at Renault Group, launching the first digital training platform covering eight countries and contributing to increased organizational performance. Additionally, during her tenure as the Manager of Customer Satisfaction, Strategy, and Quality Engineering Department, she significantly contributed to team growth through team building and process improvement initiatives.

In her entrepreneurial journey, she founded DB Academy, creating Romania's first B2B digital education marketplace. She continues her activities under the sustainability and engineering services framework by expanding the business model.

As a social entrepreneur, she established an NGO named ROYAD to support the integration of the Turkish community and women in Romania, working to reintegrate over 500 women into social and economic life.

She is a Romanian-French Chamber of Commerce (CCIFER) member of the Romanian-Turkish Businessmen's Association (TIAD). Additionally, she actively contributes as a Board Member of the Bucharest Business School Alumni Association.
