Deniz KUYUBAŞI

Deniz Kuyubaşı holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Middle East Technical University (METU). After completing her education, he has shaped his career as an experienced finance professional with over 25 years of senior management experience in the construction, energy, and finance sectors.

Throughout her career, she has served in significant positions such as CFO, Deputy Managing Director, and Project Finance Manager, working for large-scale companies including Çalık Enerji A.Ş., Yenigün Group, and Gama. She has taken on important roles in international projects and gained extensive experience in financial management, project finance, capital markets, risk management, and business development.

Deniz's expertise in financial management encompasses treasury management, accounting, tax, budgeting, reporting, and corporate finance. In the field of project finance, she has managed the financial aspects of EPC/EPC-F projects, independent power producer (IPP) projects, and energy distribution projects. Additionally, she has successfully managed relationships with banks, export credit agencies (ECAs), financial institutions, and multilateral development banks. In capital markets, she has overseen bond issuances and initial public offering (IPO) processes, while also specializing in project risk management and foreign exchange risk management.

Deniz has actively participated in business development processes, contributing to the development of new projects, feasibility studies, and tender processes.

Notable positions in her career include serving as CFO at Çalık Enerji A.Ş. from 2021 to 2022, where she was responsible for all financial activities of the company and its subsidiaries. From 2009 to 2021, she worked as CFO at Yenigün Group, managing the finance and accounting activities of the group's construction, energy, tourism, and trade companies. She held the position of Deputy Managing Director (Finance and Accounting) at Gama Power Systems from 2007 to 2009, where she was responsible for establishing and managing the finance and administrative organization.
