Özgür MARAŞ

Özgür Maraş received his bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering, in 1991 and started his career as an MT (Management Trainee) at Yapı ve Kredi Bank in the same year. Maraş, who worked in different positions at Yapı Kredi between 1991 and 1998, left the bank in 1998 when he was the Altunizade Corporate Branch Manager and worked as branch manager in Körfezbank A.Ş. and Osmanlı Bankası A.Ş., which were Doğuş Group banks until 2002. Özgür Maraş, who started to work at Koçbank in 2002 as Koçbank A.Ş Central Corporate Branch Manager; Following the merger of Koçbank and Yapı ve Kredi Bankası A.Ş. in 2006, he was appointed as Yapı ve Kredi Bankası A.Ş. Eminönü Commercial Regional Manager. The following year, Maraş was appointed as the General Manager of Yapı Kredi Bank Nederland NV, the group's bank in the Netherlands, and remained in this position until 2014. Having served as the General Manager of Yapı Kredi Leasing between 2014 and 2017, Maraş opened a new page in his career by being appointed as the General Manager of Çelik Motor, one of the Anadolu Group companies, in 2017 and besides executing the distributorship of Kia branded automobiles; he has both established and managed the second-hand vehicle trader, ikiyeni.com, and the Garenta brands operating in the motor and car rental sector, which provides online car rental services. He returned to his banking career in 2019 as Assistant General Manager responsible for Project Finance, Sales, Reporting, and IT at the Türkiye Kalkınma ve Yatırım Bank A.Ş., and he assumed an important responsibility in the relocation of the bank from Ankara to Istanbul and the execution of the project to conduct development banking in the sector with a new corporate identity. Özgür Maraş, who transferred to the Aldo Group in 2022, is still a member of the board of directors for the energy business of the group, as well as a consultant to the board of directors of various companies.
